PROGRESS REPORT

DISCOVERY CENTRE DEVELOPMENT

We have retained an architectural firm to help us review several potential sites for a 'new and improved' Interpretive Centre.  There have been site visits and lots of engagement with the architects on the many aspects of future development.  The terms of reference for their work includes public outreach.  Watch these spaces for that opportunity.

SUPPORT FOR CONTINUING THE TRADITION OF ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION AND AWARENESS AT THE INTERPRETIVE CENTRE

We are pleased to report the level of governmental support for the continuation of educational services and programs at the Centre has been very strong.  We have letters of support from Directors of Areas B and C, the Town of Creston, Wayne Stetski, MP and Michelle Mungall, MLA. This support follows letters supporting KCDC's efforts from the Chamber of Commerce, Wildsight and many individual residents.  We at KCDC are grateful for your support.  It inspires us to keep on keeping-on!  Please send us your email or letter of support, comments and suggestions.  Hearing from everyone is very important to all of us.  Thank you!
