SMALL STEPS TOWARD KEEPING THE INTERPRETIVE CENTRE OPERATING

Over the past several weeks KCDC has met with representatives from the CVWMA and the Directors of Regional Districts A and B (Larry Binks and Tanya Wall) to discuss how we can work together to keep the Interpretive Centre open while the bigger project - developing a new "Discovery Centre" - is underway.  GOOD NEWS!  We are working together and there is consensus around the importance of keeping the Centre operating!

With a consensus in hand, we are now working on structure and funding.  There is much work to be done by everyone and while the result is not yet certain, the ducks (no pun intended!) are beginning to line-up so the Centre may open as usual next May.  Check back here for updates!
