Introduction

The demolition of the former Interpretive Centre marked the end of an era. We are now, as the poet said, ‘on the threshold of a dream’.  The dream is not only about a new Discovery Centre that will  continue the tradition of environmental education delivery in the Creston Valley, the dream is also about establishing a world-class, unique Centre that uses modern technology to make learning more interesting and accessible.  It is also about working with governments, industry and our First Nations to create amazing ecological and cultural experiences.
